Raedas is strengthening its presence in Dubai and Singapore with the relocation of two of the firm’s directors.
Alex Reeds, who leads the firm’s MENA (Middle East and North Africa) team, has moved to Dubai, while Henry Edelstein, who heads its crypto-asset tracing and blockchain disputes practice, has relocated to Singapore.
The move brings additional senior expertise to two key markets, allowing Raedas to better support growth and clients across the GCC and Asia-Pacific.
Singapore: Expanding Raedas’ APAC Offering
Raedas opened its Singapore office almost a year ago. Led by Marjolein van den Bosch-Broeren, the office operates as a regional hub for Raedas’ sovereign disputes, enforcement and litigation support services across Asia-Pacific. Henry’s move accelerates and supports Raedas’ continued growth in the region.
Henry brings more than six years of experience with Raedas working across investor-state disputes, sanctions and fraud matters, with casework spanning Asia, Russia/CIS and South West Asia. Singapore provides a natural base from which to continue developing this work as the region combines a sophisticated disputes market with major financial institutions and crypto businesses.
“In less than a year, Singapore has proven itself a natural hub for our work across Asia-Pacific,” said Marjolein van den Bosch-Broeren. “Clients increasingly need digital asset tracing and with Henry on board, we are well placed to deliver it and accelerate our growth across the region.”
“The opportunity to help shape the next stage of Raedas’ growth in Asia-Pacific was a major attraction for me. I’m looking forward to being on the frontline as we build out the Singapore practice, develop new relationships and expand the range of investigative support we can provide to our clients,” said Henry Edelstein.
Dubai: Meeting Growing Demand
Alex joins managing director Matthew Walker in Dubai, strengthening the office’s capacity to support a growing portfolio of private clients and local enforcement-related mandates. Having led the MENA team from London, Alex brings further senior expertise and established regional relationships to the Dubai practice.
“Alex’s move to Dubai bolsters our local offering as demand for hands-on investigative support across the Gulf grows,” said Matthew Walker. “Clients need advisers who know how matters unfold on the ground, particularly given shifting global dynamics and the complexity of the work we undertake. Expanding the team in Dubai puts us in a stronger position to meet that demand locally and beyond.”
“I am excited to be making Dubai my home after many years of visiting. The Gulf has become central to my practice at Raedas, and being based here means I am closer to our clients and the matters we work on every day,” Alex Reeds said.
