Raedas are pleased to announce the senior strategic hire of Eric Wheeler, formerly Head of Business Intelligence for the Americas at The Risk Advisory Group. Based in Washington DC, Eric joins Raedas as a Director supporting the firm’s growing North America, Latin America and CIS practices.

A specialist in emerging and frontier markets, Eric has worked on behalf of many of the largest corporations, law firms and investment managers throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, leading investigations in the context of complex litigation, arbitration and other contentious situations, as well as recovery and enforcement strategies on a state, federal and international basis. Eric is particularly knowledgeable of the commodity trading and shipping sectors and has overseen the origination and expansion of relationships with some of their most prominent participants.

He will be based between Washington DC and New York City. Eric is the first senior hire the firm has made outside of its London HQ.

Eric’s appointment follows that of forensic accountant David Lawler in October 2021.
